This quest will consist of visiting 20 dungeons, lockpick skill and Carol's Carrot Soup. You will need to have a cooking pot, carrot, milk, cheese and a character with cooking skill trained. You might also want to pick up a few portal gems from the Master Mage for towns like Nanto and Samsur. If you don't feel like having to keep going through the Abandon Mine from Arwic you can also pick up other ones too.

Filo's Doom is located at 12N 62.2E near Rithwic.

• Low level drudges, shreths, skeletons, rats and banderlings.
• At the drop head out South then make a left turn follow by a right heading South.
• Pull the lever in the room and head through the South door.
• Hang left into and room and continue heading West follow by hugging the right wall to find the Alloy Device.

Empyrean Garrison is located at 54.2S 81.8E near Nanto.

• Low level drudges, shreths, and rats.
• Head out of room from drop and head forward to cross section then head SW.
• Continue into the large room then head out the North hall and hang left down to the next level.
• SE follow by a right into the room and head to the following room with 3 levers.
• Pull the middle one and head out the hall next to the levers and make a left facing NE then through the door on your right.
• Head into the room and jump down to the next level.
• Keep heading forward into a room where you'll find the Alloy Apparatus to your right.

Dungeon Nye is located at 6.2N 34.4E near Samsur.

• Low level drudges, banderlings and mu-miyahs.
• At the drop head out South and take the South hall.
• Keep heading forward and make left turns till you're in a room with a hall leading to the Exit portal.
• Take the hidden passage on the West wall to get the Alloy Dynamo.

Mountain Keep is lcated at 54.7N 32.9E near Holtburg.

• Filled with mu-miyahs.
• At the drop head forward and jump down to the next level.
• Head East and make a tab jump into the hall on your left to find the Alloy Sprocket next to the fountain.

Smuggler's Hideaway is at 29.5S 91.4E close to Tou-Tou. You can take the portal to Tou-tou at 33.8N 56.4E just outside of Arwic. Take the Smuggler's Fort from 29.0S 91.7E to get to the Smuggler's Hideaway portal.

• At the drop head out of the room and go through the door at the SW corner.
• Hang right all the way to a door. The floor plate is by the rocks in front of the door.
• Keep heading forward and make a left into a large room at the dead end.
• Take the path on the South wall and make a right heading West at the intersection.
• Hang left into the large room and you'll find the Alloy Contrivance at the NE corner.

Saadia's Retreat is located at 53.6S 76.6E near Lin. You can take the portal to Tou-tou at 33.8N 56.4E just outside of Arwic then the Lin portal at 28S 95.4E.

• Mosswarts.
• From the drop head out and hang left and jump down to the next level.
• Take the West side up to the next level then at the bridge jump down.
• Head West to the next level and head out North up to the next level.
• At the 2nd curve you'll find the Alloy Implement.

Enkindled Souls is located at 49.4S 26.9E near Khayyaban. You can take the Al-Jalima portal at outside of Arwic then the Khayyaban portal at .

• Undeads and skeletons.
• From the drop head out of the room then hang left all the way to a large room.
• Through the door that's close to you and up to the next level and take the passage towards NW.
• Hang right into room with the lever. Pull and hang right all the way through the door and into large room.
• The Alloy Utensil is behind the door East to the chests. Walk around the chests to open it.

Dungeon of Tatters is located at 62.1S 40.1E close to Khayyaban.

• Wisps, shadows, golems and undeads.
• Hand right all the way to the North hall leading out of the large room.
• Head East from the small room to large room with golems.
• Hang left into room with the Alloy Cylinder on the NE corner. Portal recall and take the exit portal.

Lost Garden Ruins is located at 65.9S 59.3E close to Baishi. If you take the exit from Dungeon of Tatters you can take the High Mountain Portal at 61.9S 40W which drops you really close to this dungeon.

• High level skeletons and shadows. Suggest to have flame banes on.
• From the drop hang left to the pit and jump down.
• Continue to a cross section and head West into the room.
• Take the North ramp up follow by a right to the next level.
• At the cross section make a left heading South and continue.
• At the following cross section make a right and head South.
• Continue to the room with a throne and the Alloy Engine is right by the throne.

Thieves' Den is located at 17.7N 65E close to Eastham. Not too far to run from Rithwic.

• Drudges, banderlings and skeletons.
• Hang right all the way till you get to the Exit Portal. DON'T JUMP DOWN.
• Make a tab jump towards the hall to your left and hang right all the way into a room with the Alloy Cogwheel on the NE corner.

Bone Lair is located at 29.4S 7E close to Al-Arqas.

• Low level skeletons.
• From the drop go through the door on the NW corner that's locked.
• Step on the middle of the room to open the South door. Pull lever.
• Head North through the door and keep heading forward to the room with lever.
• Pull lever and head back out to the big room and jump.
• Through the door that's now open and hang left to find the Alloy Instrument at the NW corner.

Mount Naipenset Caverns is located at 5.6N 56.2W close to Fort Tethana.

• Golems.
• Hang left all the way to a large room with a pit.
• Jump down the pit and walk between the 2 fire towards NE to trigger the South door.
• Continue till at bridge and jump down to the pit and take the passage.
• At the NE corner you'll find the Alloy Generator by the chests.

Crater Caves Dungeon is located at 66.7N 12.5E.

• Knaths, Golems and fire elements.
• Make a right at the drop to next level then on the North hall. Take the middle passage follow by a left turn into large room.
• Head to the other side and jump down to the next level.
• Take the center route and head past the next room to a cross section.
• Make a left and down to the next level and follow it around the curve.
• Head South then turning left and hang left will lead you into a big room with honeycomb like forges.
• At the end of the room by the chests you'll find the Alloy Fan.

Tomb of The Dead is located at 18.4S 9.3E near Tufa.

• Undeads and wisps.
• From the drop head out to the cross section pass the bridges.
• Make a right and continue into the large room.
• Left into small room with a lever on the wall. Pull and continue heading South through the door. Make a left into the room with multiple levers.
• Pull the middle one and back to the first large room and take the door past the bridge.
• Continue heading forward and hang right will bring you to a room with the Alloy Contraption at the SE corner.

Phyntos Menace is located at 68.1N 20.1W near Stonehold.

• Wasps and rats.
• Head out of room from drop and make a left and continue to a room.
• Head out East and make a right towards SE.
• Make a left (North) follow by a right into the large room.
• Head up the South ramp and hang left to the next level.
• Open the door to your left (South) and you'll find the Alloy Turbine at the SE corner.

Old Mine is located at 79.2S 27E near Qalaba'r. You can get there by going through the Arwic Mines Portal at 33.8N 56.8E.

• Lugians, undeads and rats.
• From the drop head out of the room and make a right down to the cross section.
• Make a left and continue forward to the next level.
• At the cross section make a right and continue to a large room.
• Take the South hall and keep heading forward to the dead end and make a left towards East.
• Continue to the large room then go through the doors towards North.
• Through the East door and keep heading forward to large room avoiding all small rooms.
• The Alloy Piston is located at the SE corner.

Crypt of Ashen Tears is located at 14.6N 3.5E close to Zaikhal.

• Banderlings, undeads and rats.
• From the drop hang left all the way will lead you to a large room with the Alloy Mechanisom towards SW of the room.

Glenden Wood Dungeon is located at 29.9N 26.4E near Glenden Wood.

• Low level drudges, banderlings, armoredillos, undeads, rats and golems.
• Take the West hall from the drop follow by a right into a large room.
• Head North and hang left into large room.
• East hall follow by a right and continue past the large room.
• At the 2nd cross section head South.
• Pick the last door and head to cave level.
• Head East and continue heading forward to a room with the Alloy Tool to the SW corner.

Inner Dungeon is located at 43.5N 43.4W near Plateau Village. You can get a gem from the Wedding Planner.

• This is pretty straight forward. Keep heading forward will bring you to a large room with the Alloy Motor at the NE corner.

Small Icecave is located at 67.5N 50.3E close to Bandit Castle. For this part you'll need to visit Karwin, the Lunatic (66.4N 50E) at the entrance of the Bandit Castle for a special key. You can take the Mountain Shortcut at 34.9N 56E outside of Arwic then the Bandit Castle portal at 42.4N 60.5E.

• Gromnies, rats, golems and undeads.
• Head out of the room from the drop and hang left into the large room.
• Head out North and hang right into the large room.
• Head North in the large room and take the East hall and continue.
• Make a right and jump down to the next level and up the South hall.
• Cross the bridge and use Karwin's Key on the door to get the Alloy Pinion.

Once you got all 20 Alloy devices head out to visit the undead at 42.1N 79.1W. You can take the Greenspire portal from Rithwic at 11.1N 59.6E. Then the Redspire portal across the road at 43.2N 68.2W. Hand him all 20 Alloy devices and he'll hand you a binder and the pages of the text. Combine them and give it back to him for your rewards.
