Note: Click on the icon to view the status of the item. The Buadren is crafted from three items. Tree Trunk from Oak Golems, Dread Mattekar Hide from Dread Mattekars and Fire Auroch Hide from Fire Aurochs. Note: Drum parts maybe be given until they're crafted. There's no skill check on crafting them so make sure you use the character you want to own the drum does the crafting. Oak Golems can be find in the Northern Mountains. Use a whittling knife on the Tree Trunk to hollow it out. There's no skill check and once it's hollowed out it's no give/drop.
Next step is to find Fire Auroch Hide. You can find them between Glenden Wood and Plateau Village. Found mine off a Fire Auroch Bull. This you'll require a noodle cutter to craft. You can get one of these from Mayoi. There's no skill check to cut up the hide.
You can easily find Dread Mattekars from the 3 camps from the Arm, Mind and Heart (Linvak Tukal) quest. Take the hide to Aun Tikakhe at 82.6N 21.1E. He's the one who is playing the drum constantly. Give him the Dread Mattekar Hide and he'll give it back you along with the Tanning Oil. Once you have the Buadren give it to Aun Tikakhe to exam it and he'll give you the Buadren back with a spell on it. Note: If you want to upgrade your Buadren to The Invoker then you'll have to talk to Aun Aulakhe to get the Akiekie Ember.
