For this quest you'll need someone with high lockpick skill due to some
doors with a resistance of 600. You can begin by taking the Al-Jalima
portal from Arwic at 33.6N 57.2E. Go through the Slysfear Dungeon at
11.1N 14.7E to take the portal at the end.
- Left pass from the portal and continue heading forward.
- Hang right avoiding small rooms till you come to a wooden sign with
a broken lifestone.
- Make a right and continue forward to a portal to midland dire.
From here make a run to the entrance of Candeth Keep at 87.9S 66.8W.
Talk to Talira Dain at87.2S 67.5W then head out to Sclavus Temple at
82.5S 75.1W (60+).
- Head forward and North down to next level.
- Take the passage down the West hall.
- Hang right to the Strange Sclavus and talk to him.
- Continue heading forward to a room with 3 paths and take the left
one heading East.
- Keep heading forward to the room with pond like on the floor and
make a left heading South.
- To get the Polestar you'll have to kill Sister Vitriaka and to
spawn her you'll have to destroy the the sarcophagus (fire works).
- To get the Staff of Coercion do not attack Sister Vitriaka.
- From the entrance to room stay on the right side and hit the 2nd
torch on the wall to open the door to a passage on the East wall.
- Head down to the bottom to get the Falatacot Tome.
- Head back up and use the torch along the way to open the door.
- Head back to the room with the pond like figures in the room and go
left heading West.
- Continue forward and take either passage in the room with the Exit
portal (don't take it).
- In the 3rd room with 4 sarcophaguses hit the torch on the SE wall
to reveal a passage to get the Book of Memories.
- Head back to take the Exit portal and use the torch along the way
to open the door.
- Head back to Candeth Keep and give the Book of Memories to Talira
Dain for your Polestar.
- To get the Staff of Coercion you'll have to head out to Hebian and
find Fanzen San the Translator at 39.2S 81.6E. Give him the tome to get
it translated and back to Candeth Keep and give it to Dalius Kendmar next
to Talira Dain.
