The tricky part about acquiring the fragments for this orb is finding the particular drudge to get started. It doesn't matter if you get the South Quiddity Fragment first or the North Quiddity Fragment first. To get the fragments you'll have to locate a randomly spawned Northern Black Claw Raider in the northern mountains and a randomly spawned Southern Black Claw Raider in the southern mountains.

For the Southern Black Claw Raider you can start from Qalaba'r and head SE searching for it. The raider can be easily mistaken for a Drudge Stalker. Once it's kill it will open a portal to a dungeon restricted to level 20-35. Once inside buff up and prepare to fight drudges. You'll have to make your way through Drudge Lurkers, Drudge Stalkers and Drudge Raveners to get to the leader. Follow the path to the east to the next room then take the path to the right. Keep heading forward till you come to a dead end with the brick walls. Take a right turn and keep going till you come to another room. Take the path to the right and keep heading forward till you come to a wall. Take a left turn and keep going till you come yet to another wall. Make a right turn and it will lead you to a room with purple mist affects. From this point on keep hanging right and it'll lead you right to the Southern Black Claw Leader. The leader is the one with the South Quiddity Fragment and it looks identical to a Drudge Ravener. The hall to the North leads to an exit portal where there's no monsters spawning there. It's a good spot to be at if you need to go afk for a few minutes.

It's a little bit harder to get the Northern Quiddity Fragment. The northern mountains are harder to get to and packed with more dangerous creatures. The Northern Black Claw Raider looks identical to a Drudge Stalker and once it dies it opens a portal for the dungeon where the leader is. Buff when inside the dungeon then follow the path on the west to the next room. Follow the path to the right in the next room and hang right till you come upon a room with three paths in front of you. Take the middle path and continue to head forward till you come to a fork. Take the right path and follow it to the next room. Follow the path ahead of you and hang right till you come to a dead end. Make a right turn and hang right. Take another right turn and keep heading forward and you'll find your Northern Black Claw Leader. It spawns on top of the little structure so wait for it to jump down before attacking.

To finish the orb you can simply combine the two halves. The two halves can be dropped or given away. The finished orb is no drop/give but can be dropped on death.

You can take the orb to the Landbridge Staging Complex at 86.1S 2.6W which is restricted to level 32+ to learn more about this quest. It's highly recommended to keep the orb since it has some nice spells.
