To begin this quest,you'll need to get a Shendolain Key from a high level grievver. Everyone must have at least one key. Suggested to have more than one in case get killed in the 2nd half. The dungeon is located at 53.8S 59.6W (level 36+) at OP. The entrance is safe for buffing if you need to.

You'll need to have two teams working on this to get to the Shendolain Gate or use the old "bug the door" bug by having someone standing in the middle of where the door will close at. When ready head out of the and make a right. The lever team hang right into the lever room with 4 set of levers in the room. The other team will make a left at the fork and continue heading forward till you come to a T intersection. The first door at the end of the hall to your right. Have the lever team pull the first set of lever towards SW. Pull the levers one by one till the door is open.

After the first set of door you'll see a large room ahead of you. Make a left turn right before the room and take the ramp down. At the T make a left and head down the ramp toward South. When you're inside a room with two sets of doors. Have the lever team pull the second set of levers till the set of door on the South opens.

The follow two sets of doors are quite easy to get to since it's pretty straight forward. When you get to a point where there's a fork right after the bridge keep heading forward and continue. If your group use the theory of bugging the doors, the lever team pulls the first set of levers then exit the lever room to your left and make two rights then head for the first door. :) When you get to the room with the Shendolain Gate use the key on it then restock if needed. If another run is needed for lever team then simply portal recall to the drop and start from the start. You can buff after you use the gem since the drop is safe.

The second half of this quest requires a lockpicker. When ready jump down the pit and head down the ramp on the West. Hanging left will bring you to the set of metal doors that needs to be triggers. If you head down West and hanging right will bring you to the steel doors that needs to be picked. Behind it will be two levers. Pull the levers and head back to the other set of steel door that's opened by the lever. You can take any path from this point to get to the Shendolain Crystal. Kill the crystal and pick up the Shendolain Gem (1 week timer).

Once you got the Shendolain Gem you can take it to one of the three brothers in Uziz for a shield, orb or bow. They're located at 24.4S 28.7E. Orb - Gervena the Oblique, Shield - Gerloc the Defender and for the Bow - Gersan the Sureshot. If you're a crossbow user and wish to own a crystal crossbow you'll have to do a little extra work. You will have to bring Barnar the Tinker in Stonehold (68.8N 21.5W) a Wood Golem Heart. He will carve it into a suitable stock to attach to your crystal bow to make a crystal crossbow.
