In order to get the item that converts the Sword of Lost Light into the Sword of Lost Hope you'll have to find 3 items. Skull of Palacost, Heart of Shadow, and Fragment of the Singularity. Combine the three items to create the Dark Crucible. Bring the gem to the Chosen of Asheron. You can find Chosen of Asheron at Zaikhal, Hebian-to or Cragstone. The one at Zaikhal is located at 14.7N 2.3E.

Chosen of Asheron

Gather up a strong group of people before using the portal gem. The portal is restricted to level 36+. It's safe to buff at the drop of the portal. The place is populated by Bane and Destroyer Grievvers, Panumbris and Umbris Shadows, and at the bottom is the Shadow of Black Ferah. Use all protects and bane against acid, bludgeoning and lightning attacks.

• Pick the lock on the door to the center and go through it.
• Continue heading forward will bring you to a room with a lever on the floor.
• Leave someone here while the rest of the group continue heading forward.
• Keep heading forward into another large room.
• Hang right through the door like olthoi dungeons.
• At the bottom of the ramp make a left. (Floor does damage.)
• Keep heading East to the 1st door.
• Have someone make head into the room to the North then then proceed to the following room to find the button for the 2nd door.
• Have both person pull lever/push buttom then run for the doors.
• There's a floor pressure plate for the first door between the 1st and 2nd door.
• Jump down the pit to clear everything then grab the Blood of the Hopeslayer off the Remnants of Ilservian. (Respawn timer is about 4 minutes)

Note: Once you apply the Blood of the Hopeslayer you may not apply any of the infusions from the Aerlinthe quest. The one below already have all the infusions applied.

You can also turn in the Blood of the Hopeslayer to Lilly of Glenden Wood for experience points. She's located outside of Glenden Wood at 32.0N 27.2E.
