First you'll need to get all seven keys before heading out to the Halls of Lost Light. Take either one of the green portals from the bottom of Carved Cave and you will appear at a lifestone. Another way is go through the Sylsfear Dungeon from the Staff of Nomad quest. Touch this lifestone if you know you might get kill while running through the dire. Buff up with protections before moving on from this point. Then head for the lifestone at 78.9S 73.4W which is closest to the Hall of Lost Light if you wish to bind before heading into the dungeon. Run and heal when safe since you won't know when you're going to run into lugians with hollow weapons. Touch the lifestone then head for the Hall of Lost Light at 76.7S 74.8W (no level restriction). The drop is safe inside since the Liches are behind doors. Buff up and pick a door. It doesn't matter which way you go. You will know you're at the last door since it looks different and you've already went past six doors. ;) You will find three liches right behind the door, one to each of the small rooms inside where the guardian is along with his two lich lord guardians and a granite golem. Kill the guardian and you can get your own shiny Sword of Lost Light.
