To start this quest, go to Martine's Retreat located in Rithwic in the center of the half on the side of the river with the Weaponsmith. Run forward up the ramp, pass through two doors, and talk to Hibdin Velos. He tells you to speak to Remmick, so run back down the ramp and talk to him in the large room you passed through while heading to Hibdin. Head back to the entrance of the dungeon, taking a turn right while facing the room the portal dropped you in. Find to the Subterranean Farms portal (level 20+) and enter, but do not wander from the first room yet before buffing and making sure you're protected against all physical and acid attacks, for you'll encounter Olthoi, Phyntos Wasps, and some rats before you reach the end.

Navigate your way through the first two rooms; after the second, you'll come to a T-intersection. Go left and through the next room until you come out to a different looking area with a tree next to a small room with windows. Take a right and head through the next two rooms until you come to another T-intersection and make another left. In the sixth room after this, you will see an opening covered by a strange type of energy (it's pretty hard to miss). Run through the bright wall of energy and kill the Harker, who spawns in the back of the room at the bottom of the ramp with either a sword and shield or a crossbow in hand. Note: the Simulacra surrounding the Harker also drop black robes with very dark turquoise trim.

Take the Harker's Head back to Hibdin Velos in Martine's Retreat. If you're above level 60, you should receive a pair of Sunstone Gauntlets. If you're below level 60, you'll get Opal Gauntlets. Hibdin will then tell you to visit Leandra, another NPC in Martine's Retreat, to learn more about the gauntlets.

Apply Ruined Amulets to the Sunstone Gauntlets in order to receive a Moderate Cantrip (+10) on them in addition to the other spells. See the Ruined Amulets quest page for more information on which monsters drop the amulet you want.
